The Mountlake Terrace Elementary Little Hawks Alliance, proudly supports the Edmonds School District’s adoption of Black Lives Matter month of action. We are an organization of members invested in the enrichment of student education as well as issues and problems that affect our community. If you’re interested in getting involved in the BLM Month of Action Planning Committee, or planning committees for future awareness/education events including, but not limited to, LGBTQIA folks, Asian Pacific Islanders, Native American/Alaskan Native Heritage, Latinx communities, and Disability Rights, you can email Sally at GuzmanReyesS@edmonds.wednet.edu.

Gender Alliance:
This year we are going to offer 5th and 6th graders the opportunity to join a group called the "Gender Alliance". The Gender Alliance will be made up of students from 5th and 6th grades. This is a group of students of any gender (boy, girl, transgender, non-binary, two spirit, questioning, gender fluid, ...). The group will work with Bridget Halfaker, Ms. Brandy, and Ms. Kelly to plan and lead the Pride Week in June. For more information about the Gender Alliance please contact Bridget Halfaker at halfakerb@edmonds.wednet.edu
